About Harry (Charambalos Andreas) Vatiliotis
Harry Vatiliotis is one of Australia’s most celebrated luthiers, renowned for his extraordinary craftsmanship and a lifetime dedicated to the art of violin making. Trained under the reputable Arthur Edward Smith, Vatiliotis has honed his skills over decades, producing violins, violas, and cellos that are revered for their exceptional tonal quality and exquisite detail. His instruments are known for their rich, resonant sound and meticulous attention to every detail, making them highly sought after.
Vatiliotis' work has gained recognition not only in Australia but internationally as well. His remarkable contributions to the world of violin making were showcased in the documentary The Last Violin, which offers an intimate look into his life and work.
